Athletes should always bring their water, cheer shoes, pom poms, and the appropriate attire to practice and games. Coaches will communicate attire with parents and guardians. Please only allow athletes to bring what is necessary.

Camp for the 2024 season is August 19-22. Regular practices will begin on September 4th and the season will end on November 3rd, 2024.

Registration is $300 *fundraising options available, please reach out to coaches.

Practice is Monday and Wednesdays from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm at the Middle School on Sparrow Field (left side of school). In the case of inclement weather, coaches will communicate an indoor practice location.

No, all athletes are welcome and encouraged to participate in Norwell Youth Cheerleading!

Yes! Fundraising is optional, but there will be the opportunity to participate in a few fundraisers throughout the season. These may include selling Hilliard Chocolate candies throughout the season, and the Norwell Farm pop-up performance and snacks on Wednesday, Sept 18th from 4-7 pm, featuring a square raffle.

If an athlete must miss practice or a game due to another commitment, the parent or guardian must notify the respective coach as soon as possible through the BAND App or text message. If an athlete becomes ill and is not able to attend a practice or game, this must be communicated with their coach.

There are many cheerleading and gymnastics gyms that offer classes and private lessons for athletes looking to improve their skills.
Cheer Sport Sharks in Weymouth, MA and ECE Hingham in Hingham, MA are both great local options that offer classes and private lessons!
